The left behind, essay talked about how that society has changes.It changes because now kids are not safe in there school,Kids in the school are more viloent because of what happens in there home.People that usually are fighting in school and dont listen are the kids that most likely will be left behind because of the things that happen in there home.

Tales that were told in my family that back in the day my grandmother who is black,but some might confuse her as white was not able to do as many things as a young girl!! During her time slavery wasn’t around I would per say but I would say it was always the black man working for the white man .My grandmother who is black said a lot of people would mistake her for white, she didn’t have a lot of black friends because that always thought she was white. The tale is that shew had to face a lot of different people words and ways they looked at her because people didn’t accept her for being black,but looking white. My grandmother brothers and sisters all favored her but and she has three brothers and three sisters so they also had to go threw this time were people looked down on them. People back then didn’t care if you were children are not if you didn’t look like them then you are not equal. The lesson that came from this is that my grandfather is black like night and my grandmother is black like day and my two uncles all but one look alike,my oldest uncle favor my grandmother and my next uncle favor me and my daddy favor me. So a lot of times people say that there not brothers because of there skin but it doesn’t matter there brothers and look at each other as equal,no matter what my grandparents loved all 3 kids,so did my great-great grandmother even though people thought my grandmother was adopted.

 My topic is my life and all the differnt obstacles that I have been threw since I was born, and my assertion is . The main idea I want my reader to understand is that im not perferct im not a bad person everybody just have differnt things in life that they have to go threw.

My racial identity is African American,and the struggles I have had that I can say is that differnce race think just because im a black young woman doesnt mean I cant be proper or dosent mean that I cant write or speak right, most people think that being black means ghetto and not knowing anything but thats show untrue its based on how much your willing to know and learn about a person to know who they really are.Labels in american in the younger ages group are based on clothes and it shows who,what ,and what you may have.For example if I wore a polo shirt im labeled as having money but if I dont im labeld as if im poor.In my opinion they are all the same just like black and whites are all the same everyone is equal unless u come across as someone who dosent want to be eqaul to people because being equal is on the out side but on the inside everybody is differnt and has differnt emitions but aslong as you have a great attiude and mind on right you should be someone that all ethics group should want to be around.

The labels That I give my self is that im a talented,ambitious, outgoing young woman,My self identity is that im very quiet and very differnt and thats my identity because people dont realize that im talktive because I come off as if I am so quiet and so shy, but im not at all.Comapring herself to the brown bag is mainly saying that she is black and yes she can change in many forms or ways because a bag can be open, close smashed,etc, but no matter what she is still her self the inside never changes only the outside.Discrimantion is a big part of the world I do not agree and I do agree I mean I really dont have an opinon on it but to say that it shouldnt happen, like everybody is the same only thing is differnt colors and differnt abilities and maybe differnt attiudes but everyone or people.

Im thinking about writin about my mom becuse im the oldest daughter and me and my mom are close,secondly i might write about  childhood how it started off great then went down hill ,then its better now.I shouldnt have no promblems because this is a subject that I know very well that im writing about.
